Quatuor 4Give n 4Get

It was an honour for us to sing with Guy Filion (Baritone), immediate-past president, who celebrated his 77th Birthday at our annual Spaghetti Supper this past Saturday, September 23, 2023. It was a poignant moment; it was perhaps the first time since pre-pandemic days for him to sing in a quartet at this signature South Shore Saints event. In June, our baritone Andre relocated to the city of Sherbrooke. It was only a few weeks ago that we asked Guy if he could step in to help us prepare some songs for this event. We were grateful that he accepted, for without him, we could not have performed for our supporters. We were confident with the first song, Crazy Little Thing Called Love (Queen) . Our second, With a Little Help From My Friends (The Beatles) , had been a challenge. In fact, when we ran through the song just before taking the stage, we were tripped up again by the lyrics. We faced a choice: to sing one song, or ask our friends in the audience ... for a little help!   Sheet ...

  Levée de fonds Dîner Spaghetti / Spaghetti Dinner Fund Raising Event This past Saturday, 23rd September 2023, the   South Shore Saints Chorus   held a Spaghetti Dinner fund raising event.  In the tradition of their previous spaghetti dinners, the chorus and the chapter's quartets offered a set of   Barbershop style songs .    4Give n 4Get , with a replacement Barytone, sang two songs.
